Common causes of shoulder injuries and daily routine mistakes that cause Injuries
The shoulder joint is the most mobile joint of the body, usually it is a joint that gets a major workout every day. And is also very prone to injuries, there isn't any need to be professional athlete to injure the shoulder joint. In fact the shoulder joint injury is one of the most common injuries that occurs even at home workplace and in sports, as the tendons and the muscles covering the shoulder joint are too stressed. Most of the shoulder injuries does not necessarily happen due to professional sports, but are rather due to other regular activities, even lifting a heavy object in improper form can cause shoulder injuries. Luckily shoulder injuries can be prevented just by keeping in mind certain reminders.
How does shoulder injury occur:-
- These include clicking sound within the joint
- Difficulty in rotating and lifting the arm
- Weakness in arm & shoulder
- Severe pain particularly after injury
- Picking up heavy weight at home without proper form and support

- Lift the object closer to the body and avoid lifting overhead with one arm
- Take regular break while performing activities that a repetitive with single arm, always switch the arms while doing activities if possible
- Stay physically fit

- Stretching and rotating shoulder to the full range of motion helps a lot in maintaining strength and to avoid injuries
